RCM Smart Start Fall 2025
Welcome! Please complete this form to register your child for the Royal Conservatory of Music Smart Start Program. This program is designed for children aged 12 to 24 months.
🗓 Class Schedule:
September 10, 2025 – December 17, 2025
Wednesdays, 10:15–10:45 AM
No class on : October 1, October 15, October 22, November 5, and December 3.
Total: 10 sessions
📍 Location:
Victoria Hills Community Centre

💲 Program Fee:
$200 for 10 sessions + $30 RCM Website Registration fee

2025 Mobile Photography Workshop at Victoria Park

Join professional photographer Julie for a hands-on mobile photography workshop in the beautiful Victoria Park, Kitchener! Learn how to capture stunning images using just your phone — from composition and lighting to insider tips and tricks.
📅 Date: Saturday, September 13
🕒 Time: Afternoon (90-minute session)
📍 Location: Victoria Park, Kitchener
💰 Fee: $5 per person; $3 for each additional person after the first! (It’s more fun — and cheaper — with friends!)
👥 Ages: 12 and up
🗣️ Language: This workshop will be taught in Mandarin Chinese.
📸 What to expect: A mix of theory and practical exercises, with opportunities for one-on-one feedback from the instructor.
Please note: This event is held outdoors and is not covered by insurance. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Open to youth, adults, and retirees — everyone is welcome!

Community Yoga Class
Take a break and reconnect with your body and mind through our weekly community yoga sessions. This beginner-friendly class focuses on gentle stretching, mindful movement, and relaxation — perfect after a long day!
📅 Dates: Thursdays, October 2 – December 18
No class on November 20 & 27 & Dec 4
🕕 Time: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 Location: Kitchener, Community Centre
💰 Fee: $180 for 9 classes
👥 Ages: 16 and up
👕 What to wear: Comfortable, athletic clothing
Bring a yoga mat and water bottle if you have them. All levels welcome!
2025 Mid-Autumn Festival Craft Workshop

Join us for a fun and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival craft session at the community centre! Learn about this traditional celebration while making beautiful, themed crafts to take home. Great for families, kids, and anyone who loves hands-on creativity.

📍 Location: Kitchener, Community Centre
💰 Fee: $20 per person (includes all materials and instruction)
👨👩👧👦 Recommended Age: For children age 6+ and adults.
